The Obama administration has issued a strong reaction to the photos of U.S. soldiers posing with the corpses of insurgents in Afghanistan. Afghan president, Hamid Karzai, called such behavior disgusting. U.S. Defense Secretary, Leon Panetta, said it was just foolish behavior by young people caught up in war. That kind of behavior, though, is not unique to the war in Afghanistan. Sasha Schwendenwein talked to war veterans and psychologists to try to understand how war affects those who are fighting it.
